Teeth Whitening

Over time, your teeth may develop a yellowish tinge. This is a normal part of aging. Other causes of yellowing teeth include tooth trauma, excessive fluoride use, and genetics. Additionally, your teeth’s enamel may become stained when you drink wine, coffee, or tea, or if you smoke.

For many, having discolored teeth can be a source of embarrassment. However, you don’t have to live with discolored teeth forever. Have a brighter smile through our professional teeth whitening services. Contact us today to schedule your appointment!

Braces and Invisalign

We offer dental braces to straighten crooked teeth and correct malocclusions such as overbites and underbites. Invisalign aligners, which are clear aligners that resemble mouth guards, work similarly. They also correct many orthodontic problems, with the added benefit of being removable.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are metal posts or frames that are surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath your gums. Once in place, they allow your dentist to mount replacement teeth onto them.

Like bridges, dentures are dental prostheses that take the place of missing teeth. There are two types of dentures: complete and partial. Complete dentures are worn by patients who are missing all of the teeth in their upper and/or lower jaw. Partial dentures are used when there is at least one tooth left in the affected jaw.

Wisdom Teeth

Wisdom teeth are the final set of molars a person gets. They usually erupt in the late teens or early twenties. By that time, a person usually has a full set of teeth, so there isn’t enough space for the wisdom teeth to grow. This may result in impaction.

An impacted wisdom tooth is one that grows at an angle or does not fully emerge. This may result in gum disease, abscess, and tooth decay. In cases when an impacted tooth does not respond to noninvasive treatments, such as antibiotics and antiseptic mouthwashes, wisdom tooth removal may be recommended.

During the bonding process, we will apply a tooth-colored resin to your tooth and harden it with a special light. Bonding is an option for patients who have dental issues such as:

  • Chipped or cracked teeth
  • Discolored or stained teeth
  • Exposed tooth root
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Misshapen or small teeth

Bonding is a cosmetic procedure, but it can also be used to protect the exposed root of a damaged tooth.

People who have discolored, chipped, or misaligned teeth should consider veneers. These thin shells made of tooth-colored porcelain or resin composite cover the front surface of the teeth, improving their appearance. Veneers can also improve the position of your teeth by filling in gaps.

Dental Crowns

A crown is a dental prosthetic that entirely covers or caps a tooth. We may recommend a dental crown to strengthen a damaged tooth. Additionally, a dental crown can be used to improve the appearance, shape, and alignment of a tooth.

Periodontal Disease

Dental plaque, a sticky film containing millions of bacteria, can build up on your teeth and cause periodontal disease. If left untreated, periodontal disease can cause swelling and bleeding of the gums (gingivitis). This can advance to periodontitis, a more serious infection that damages the gums, teeth, and supporting bones, leading to tooth loss.

We offer a range of treatments to patients with periodontal disease. Call Dental Care Association, Corp today to book an appointment at our office in Miami, FL.

Dental Bridges

Dental Bridges

If you have a gap in your smile created by two or more missing teeth, then we may recommend a dental bridge. Apart from improving your smile, a dental bridge can help maintain your face shape and restore your ability to chew properly. Fixed dental bridges do not need to be removed to be cleaned.
